So these are shrimp and cheese empanadas (made with real lard =)) accompanied with Pisco (Pisco Sours!)
Story behind this is that I auctioned off a Homemade Pasta Making Lesson at my school’s fundraiser this winter. The winner was this Chilean guy from the engineering school, Felipe, who brought his friend Mauricio along. We had an awesome time making raviolis and fettuccine. So much awesome that they suggested we get together again with their lady friends to exchange an empanada and pisco sour lesson for a gnocchi lesson. And voila lots of delicious food. I totally want to do more of these trades. All the time.
